Fool’s Gold, a must-visit destination for those who enjoy the three essentials in life: good drink, good music and good conversation, will be tapping kegs of three Big Island Brewhaus beers next Tuesday!
Chardonnay Barrel-Aged Golden Sabbath, Jabba da Gose (brewed with Jaboticaba fruit) and Bourbon Barrel Aged Black Whole Stout will be available in the heart of New York City!
We hope, if you’re in the Big Apple the evening of February 19th, you’ll stop in at 145 E Houston St., New York, NY to Share the Aloha!
February’s musical fun has already begun but this weekend the Fun(draising) really takes off.
Friday, Feb 8, is Culinary Arts Under the Stars at the King’s Shops raising funds and awareness for our beloved Waikoloa Dry Forest.
Saturday, Feb 9, at the Barn at Kohala Village Inn, is the CBD Center benefit for North Hawaii Hospice
Sunday, Feb 10, is the dog-friendly (!) My Furry Valentine event at the Mauna Lani Shops fundraiser for Hawaii Island Human Society and Aloha Ilio Rescue!
Plus we have the on-going Resilience IPA fundraiser #buttestrong #sierranevada
And we donate $5 to the Waikoloa Dry Forest Initiative with each purchase of our co-branded, insulated, stainless steel tumblers!
As November comes to a close we’re thankful to have such amazing support from our community and our awesome staff. We’ve been honored, this year, to be able to give to many groups on the islands, and across the state and now we are supporting the Butte County community by brewing #ResilienceIPA. We will donate 100% of the Resilience sales to the Sierra Nevada Camp File Relief Fund to support those impacted by the Camp Fire.
We’ll let you know as we near a release date for this beer!
December is full of music and cheer! We start off December 1st with the 30th annual Christmas with the Chefs benefit for local culinary students attending Hawai’i Community College – Palamanui and members of the Kona Kohala Chefs Association wanting further their education. Then we have 7 nights of music before closing, December 24th & 25th, to celebrate Christmas. Another Thursday & Friday of music bring us to our annual 3pm closure on New Year’s Eve.
The Brewhaus is closed New Year’s day – which is also the 1st day of the wonderful Waimea Ocean Film Festival. Be sure to get your tickets and see as many of their beautiful and thought provoking films as you can! Films show January 1-4 in several theaters in Waimea and at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Fairmont Orchid. Films continue January 5-9th at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai!
